李高阳及乐队由鼓手邵哈哈，EWI/萨克斯手李高阳，钢琴/键盘手金野，贝斯手胡浩或毕志刚四位年轻的爵士演奏家组成，致力于爵士乐研究和演奏，近年来活跃在北京爵士乐坛，是一支极富创意和实力的中国本土爵士乐队。
李高阳及乐队演奏风格为美国东海岸爵士乐。除了将Hard Bop时期的一些Standard重新编曲演绎，还演奏李高阳融合不同音乐元素创作的原创作品。先后参与北京中山音乐堂“打开艺术之门暑期音乐节”、“北京九门国际爵士音乐节”、中国乐谷2011北京国际流行音乐季等大型演出。乐队充满活力、激情和时代感的现场演奏，备受观众喜爱和专家好评。
Li Gaoyang and his band consists of four promising young Chinese jazz players, namely Shao Haha on drum, Li Gaoyang on EWI and saxophone, Jin Ye on piano and keyboard, Hu Hao （or Bi Zhigang）on bass. These four prominent musicians have played an active role in the jazz stages home and abroad, with the band being considered by many experts in the industry as an emerging power brimming with incredible creativity and capability.
The band is committed to jazz study and improvisation. They recompose some Standard in Hard Bop time, merging with it the features of speed, wisdom, freedom and self-affirmation advocated by metropolitans in the industrialized, information and urbanized age. With such effort, their music never fails to strike a chord among audience. Their original works with a combination of different elements reveal their concern for the global environment, pursuit of a harmonious and beautiful life and calling for the tender feelings of human beings.
