Clotilde Rullaud
Clotilde Rullaud is a French singer, flutist, improviser, songwriter, performer and educator. She entered the Conservatoire aged five and studied music for fifteen years, focusing on flute and singing.
Her artistic approach stands at the crossroad of various musical influences. She blends together Latin, African, pop sounds and jazz improvisation, attesting to the wonderful melting pot that is jazz.
Poetry and the inner music of words also hold a key place in her artistic world. Clotilde aims above all to challenge what can be done with song and with the voice in order to reach her full expression, escaping from standard configurations to express her love for freedom.

Alexandre Saada
Born in Avignon in 1977, Alexandre Saada discovered John Coltrane and Serge Rachmaninov at a very young age. When he was 4, he started piano lessons and two years later entered his hometown’s conservatory. Brilliant in his classical studies, he then quickly became a firmly atypical musician.
Freshly graduated from the Conservatory, he became a part of a rock band as an organist, then developed an interest for jazz and improvised music. He completed his training next to Michel Petrucciani, Daniel Goyone and Serge Forté, and took part in numerous jam sessions in New York, La Havane and Trinidad. Back in France at the age of 20, he settles in Paris where he multiplies performances at Parisian jazz clubs, exhilarating step in his career that culminates in a show at Montreux Jazz Festival.
Driven by all these fascinating experiences, Alexandre Saada composes and records his first solo album “Present” in 2009, which, according to him, compiles his most introspective and personal compositions. The music on this record is like a picture capturing the naked truth of an instant.
