Janne Schra
Janne Schra (1981) has four albums to date. In 2006, she released “Six White Russians and a Pink Pussycat” with her first band Room Eleven, which went platinum. In 2008, the band released “Mmm…Gumbo”, which they recorded in New York and which went golden. Together with Room Eleven she toured Japan, Canada, Europe and South Africa, received a “Silver Harp” (an award given to promising musical talent in the Netherlands) and closed this chapter with a sold-out show at the Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam, from which came the DVD “Room Eleven Live in Carré” in 2009.
Averse to the beaten track, Schra continued under the name Schradinova (her painter’s pseudonym under which she still paints). In 2011, she recorded the free-spirited “India Lima Oscar Victor Echo You” and digital EP “Schradinova Live at Kytopia” in Stockholm. After much fruitful collaboration with, among others, M. Ward, Dayna Kurtz, Kyteman, De Staat, Kraak & Smaak and Benjamin Herman (EP ‘Made in China’ in Shanghai), in 2012, it was time to say “this is me” and she continued under her own name and released her widely acclaimed album “Janne Schra” in 2013.

Robin Nolan Trio
Robin Nolan, one of the most revered Gypsy-Jazz guitarists in the world, has been praised by Willie Nelson, former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman and the late George Harrison for his musicality and ingenuity. He was one of Harrison’s favourite guitarists and they developed a close friendship over the years. On several occasions, the Beatles legend invited Nolan to front performances at the legendary country estate Friar Park. Nolan found his inspiration in Gypsy-Jazz, Latin and Hot Club de France, but the power of his own expressive compositions makes his music unmistakably contemporary. Nolan was born in 1968 in Vietnam, the son of musical parents who entertained the American troops. From the very beginning, he was immersed in the world of travelling musicians. The lessons his father gave him in Hong Kong at the age of six set him on a musical journey that carried him through blues, rock and jazz, to eventually arrive at his great love and passion – the music of Django Reinhardt and the gypsies. Nolan recently signed with Dhani Harrison’s record label Hot Records through which he released his latest album “Gypsy Blue” in July 2013. The Robin Nolan Trio has played on some of the most prestigious stages in around 25 countries around the world. With his brother Kevin on rhythm guitar and Arnoud van den Berg on double bass, this power trio brings the music of Django Reinhardt to the 21st century.
