Fumihiko “Hico” Natsuaki

Hico is a multi-instrumentalist who plays the melodica, jaw harp, overtone flute, percussion as well as other ethnic musical instruments.

Hico has invented a unique and epic playing style for the melodica. Using the technique of circular breathing and playing with both hands, he is able to create a personal sound that is bold and groovy. These techniques certainly make him stand out from other musicians.

In 1997, he released the solo album “GADO-GADO”.

In 2008, he toured Europe (Czech Republic and Belgium), accompanied by the pianist, USUTOKINE.

In 2011, he held his first tour in Europe and has since gained a large European following.

A few years ago, Hico moved from Tokyo to the Nagano pref.

He is currently living an agrarian lifestyle as well as being a musician.
